Counter-Strike 1.6 server, the 32-player pub
de_dust2, cs_assault, the 4000-credit AK and the good old rush B: 1.6 never closed, and neither did we.
Our Counter-Strike 1.6 server is a classic 32-player pub rotating through eight legendary maps: de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, de_train, de_aztec, cs_italy, cs_assault and de_cbble. Period-correct settings, friendly fire off, automatic team balance: you already know the rules, you have known them for twenty-five years.
1.6 remains one of the most played shooters in the world, and it deserves a server maintained properly. Ours runs on an engine hardened against the exploits of its age without touching the gameplay: same recoil, same wallbangs, same reflexes. Grab your mouse, the pub is open.

Which maps are in the rotation?
Eight legends: de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, de_train, de_aztec, cs_italy, cs_assault and de_cbble. The map changes when the time limit ends, every twenty minutes.
What do I need to play?
Counter-Strike 1.6 on Steam, plain and simple. The game costs a few euros and runs on any machine from this century. The server accepts official Steam accounts.
Is the server faithful to the original 1.6?
Yes: classic settings, no gameplay-altering plugins, original recoil and damage. The server engine is simply hardened against the known exploits of its age, like our other GoldSrc servers.
Why 32 players?
Because old-school 1.6 pubs were played full: cs_assault at 16 versus 16 is a memory everyone deserves to relive. Teams balance automatically.
Is the server protected against cheaters?
Yes, VAC is enforced: banned accounts cannot connect. The server is logged and the crew acts on precise reports (nickname, time, context).
