Day of Defeat: Source server, the WW2 pub
dod_donner behind the MG42, Avalanche with the Garand: Valve's WW2 shooter lost none of its tension.
Our Day of Defeat: Source server is a 24-player pub rotating through eight official maps: dod_donner, dod_avalanche, dod_anzio, dod_flash, dod_kalt, dod_argentan, dod_palermo and dod_jagd. Point capture, Allies against Axis, automatic team balance: pure squad play, like 2005.
DoD:S remains the reference WW2 shooter on Source, carried by a community that never left. The server auto-updates on every boot, shows up in the Steam browser and runs VAC. Pick your class, the squad is moving out.

Which maps are in the rotation?
The eight official ones: dod_donner, dod_avalanche, dod_anzio, dod_flash, dod_kalt, dod_argentan, dod_palermo and dod_jagd. The map changes every twenty minutes.
What do I need to play?
Day of Defeat: Source on Steam, that's it. The game costs a few euros and runs anywhere. No sign-up on our side: connect and play.
How does DoD:S play?
Each side captures control points across the map: it is an objective game, not a deathmatch. Six classes per side, rifleman to machine gunner, and squads win games.
Is the server faithful to the original game?
Yes: official settings, no gameplay-altering plugins. We maintain the machine and the updates, the game stays the 2005 one, just better hosted.
Is the server protected against cheaters?
Yes, VAC is on: a banned account cannot connect. The server keeps full logs and the crew acts on precise reports (name, time, context).
